FOR PALACE PEOPLE, OLD AND NEW
New capabilities, tons of quality of life, and it grows or shrinks with your screen and stays sharp. Your props, your palaces and your scripts come with you.

GLITCH YOUR AVATAR
The Heavy Saber glitch engine is built right into the client. It loves full-color pictures from the web. Roll nine looks, reroll any one you nearly liked, set its strength and blend, and wear it.
Want it faster? /glitchme meltdown in chat does it too, and x8 makes it animated.
This is the actual engine, running in your browser.
PICTURE
LOOK
Running right here in your browser. In the client, it lands on your avatar.
WATCH TOGETHER
YouTube, Vimeo and Twitch play right in the room. Big Screen fills the room with the video and leaves everyone standing on top of it. Click again to shrink it back, or go full screen.
Pass the remote around or leave it on free play. The queue is out in the open in the Media panel, and items can be skipped. Wizards add the player to any room with a single click in Authoring mode.
NAME DECORATOR
Type your name, click a button, and get a pile of decorated versions that show up in every Palace client. Not feeling them? Hit reroll for more.
SPOOKY TEXT
Start a line with & and every letter comes out a little off, drifting in a ghostly glow. Great at midnight in a dark room.
PROPS
Create new props, or import animated ones. Bring in anything from the Palace Prop Preservation Project, any .prp file you have, or your whole PalaceChat bag.
SCRIPTING
Script in Iptscrae, and soon in Python too. The Cyborg editor has IntelliSense-style suggestions, syntax highlighting, autocomplete and auto-closing braces, with line numbers and errors shown as you type.
SMOOTH SLIDE
Hold the right button and glide, Phalanx-style, with echoes of your avatar trailing behind. Everyone else sees you glide too, instead of hopping from spot to spot.
DOCKABLE PANELS
Chat, people, rooms, prop bag and logs. Drag them where you want them, stack them, float them. Your room stays front and center.
OPERATOR PANEL
Room settings as switches that show what's on right now, room actions a click away, and moderation tools for one person, all in one panel.
LOOKS AFTER THE CLASSICS
HexPalace speaks the classic protocol, so it works with existing palaces. Props, paint, Iptscrae, prop rooms, your cyborg: it's all still here. See everything that's in it.
Shrink it to a corner or fill a big monitor. It stays sharp either way.
OpenDyslexic comes with the app. Pick it for balloons, names or the chat log, or turn it on everywhere in Options.
Make the whole app yours, not just your avatar.
Have chat read out loud while you do something else.
Drag doors and spots right in the room, as a wizard. Hide a door and it's saved to bring back later.
Palace owners approve each permission a plugin asks for. A plugin only gets what it was given.
Rooms, people, backups and add-ons for server owners, in a real site.
AI BOTS
AI-enabled bots can do anything from answering basic questions to helping you code new cyborg scripts. It's opt-in, on the official HexPalace chatbot. Get it in your palace.
VISIT THE PALACE
Rooms to walk through, doors to find, people to meet. Point any Palace client at it.
